<br />
This comes after one of the buses of the scholar transport failed to bring learners to the school.<br />
<br />
MEC Mashilo visited the combined school in Riestruit, eMalahleni, on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, as part of the 2026 academic year school support program.<br />
<br />
He says the scholar transport should be reliable and consistent to bring learners to the school on time.<br />
<br />
He says they will also look at the matter of the school owing the municipality about 6.5 million.<br />
<br />
He says it was a blessing for the government to visit the school to witness the shortcomings of the scholar transport.<br />

<br />
This comes after the Mpumalanga Premier, Mandla Ndlovu, launched the 16 days of activism against GBVF at Edward Matyeka Primary School in eMalahleni today.<br />
<br />
Macie says the society must work together with the police to fight against GBVF because it is hard to police GBVF cases.<br />

This comes after she shared her life journey about how she was abused by her late husband, whom she murdered, and served 10 years behind bars.<br />
